About

A technology partner,
not a ticket queue.

Scelimpilo IT Solutions is a South African IT company. We keep businesses running, secure what they hold, move them onto tools worth paying for, and build the systems nobody sells off the shelf. Deliberately broad, deliberately small.

Who we are

Small on purpose.

Most IT companies pick a lane. The support companies resell and maintain but cannot build. The software houses build but will not touch your network. Between them sits a gap that every growing business eventually falls into — the problem that is nobody's, where each supplier is confident it is the other one's fault.

We cover both ends deliberately. That means when the warehouse system is slow, we can look at the query, the server and the Wi-Fi in the same afternoon instead of arranging a meeting between three companies.

Staying small is a choice that follows from that. We would rather have a manageable number of clients whose environments we genuinely know than a call centre where nobody has ever seen your site. It does mean we say no to work that is not a fit, and we will tell you early when that is the case.

The name is isiZulu: scelimpilo, asking for life or health. It is a decent description of the job — keeping something running well enough that nobody has to think about it.

What you can expect.

A written scope before work starts, with a price and a date attached.

Plain explanations. If you cannot follow what we are recommending, we have explained it badly.

Ownership of your own systems: domains, tenants and code registered to your company, not ours.

An honest answer when the right recommendation is cheaper than what you asked for, or when it is not us.

How we work

From first email
to live system.

The same sequence whether the job is a two-week network fix or a platform build. The size of each step changes; the order does not.

  1. You tell us what is wrong A paragraph is enough. We reply within one business day, and if it is clearly not something we should take on, we say so then rather than three meetings later.
  2. A conversation, then a look A call to understand the operation, followed by seeing the environment — on site where that matters, remotely where it does not. Most of what we need is not in the brief.
  3. A written scope and price What we will do, what we will not, what it costs, how long it takes and what we need from you. Fixed price where the scope allows it, capped where it genuinely cannot.
  4. Delivery in visible stages You see progress at agreed points and sign off as we go. Changes are quoted separately rather than absorbed silently and argued about at the end.
  5. Handover that means something Documentation, credentials in your name, and training for the people who have to live with it. A system nobody understands is a system that gets abandoned.
  6. Support, on agreed terms Monthly cover, a support arrangement, or nothing at all if you would rather handle it internally. All three are fine and none of them are a trap.

Procurement & tenders

Set up to answer
a formal bid.

Public sector and large-corporate procurement runs on documentation, and an otherwise strong bid fails on a missing certificate more often than on price. We keep the standard pack current and can turn a compliance response around quickly.

We also work as a subcontractor where a prime contractor needs the technical capability but holds the client relationship. Tell us which role you need us in.
